Football Manager 2027 is available for people to play and there will be plenty fancying their chances at taking Leicester City back to glory.

The developers at Sports Interactive announced that they would be making the full version of the brand-new game free to play between 27 October and 3 November before the official release on 10 November.

Leicester are a side many will consider as a sleeping giant-style save and one they can take back to the Premier League. But, with financial troubles well documented, some key assets may have to be sold. Maybe the top five valuable players in the Foxes first-team squad could help generate those funds?

TalkingPoints

Which Leicester City star has impressed you the most this season and why?

5) Olabade Aluko – £12-19.5m

Academy graduate Olabade Aluko starts the list off in fifth position and we have to say, it’s a bit of a surprise.

Yes, Aluko has broken into the first-team, but he isn’t a mainstay by any stretch of the imagination.

The right-back/centre-back could still have a bright future and one of those not responsible for back-to-back relegations, meaning he is worth something. However, since he isn’t a first-choice option, selling him for money may help to bring in some of your own targets.

4) Jayden Joseph – £15.5-19m

When fit, Jayden Joseph has been one of Leicester’s stars of the season so it makes perfect sense to see why he is regarded as so valuable.

A goal against Notts County on the opening day of the season proved that he is the perfect full-back/wing-back to suit an attacking style of play.

He is the first choice and someone you want to be involved in your team for years to come.

3) Ben Nelson – £17.5-22m

Ben Nelson would be starting every week if it wasn’t for his injury and this is where a huge problem lies.

Nelson is out of contract at the end of the season but also unavailable for a large part of the campaign. That valuation is going to plummet pretty quickly, and will he still be the same player when he returns?

Selling him may be an option, but even then, you are unlikely to receive many approaches for an injured player. It will be a tough call.

2) Ilari Kangasniemi – £18-29m

Leicester fans have been crying out for Ilari Kangasniemi to start and, in FM27, it seems like they are giving you pretty good reason to.

Russell Martin loved his cameo against Wigan Athletic and sees the Finland U21 international as the future of the Foxes’ backline.

You can throw him in the deep end and, if he performs to his ability, he could fetch you a whopping big fee in a season or two. His valuation says it all, he has to play.

1) Louis Page – £18-29.5m

Topping the list is one of the finest academy graduates in recent times, none other than Louis Page.

Despite being a teenager, the midfielder is technically, physically, and mentally more advanced than you could imagine.

Page was of interest to Manchester United all summer, who had a £15m bid knocked back for him on deadline day.

It’s no surprise to see why when you see his valuation on FM27 and he is going to be a massive part of climbing Leicester back up the ladder in your save.
