With Matchday 7 of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season in the books, Bulinews Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has selected his Team of the Week, opting for an attack-minded 4-1-3-2 formation.

Goalkeeper:

Gregor Kobel, Borussia Dortmund

Made several impressive saves to help Borussia Dortmund secure a clean sheet and a narrow 1-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Defenders:

Anthony Caci, Mainz

Continued his impressive form for Mainz, contributing a goal and an assist, but his efforts weren't enough to earn his side a point, as Die Nullfünfer fell to a 2-3 defeat against Werder Bremen.

Dayot Upamecano, FC Bayern

Upamecano made his presence felt at both ends of the pitch, finding the net with a well-timed forward run while winning seven duels and completing 94 percent of his passes.

Ramy Bensebaini, Borussia Dortmund

The Algeria international delivered a solid performance at the back, winning eight duels and completing 78 percent of his passes.

Nathaniel Brown, FC Bayern

Impressed going forward in FC Bayern's 3-1 win over Freiburg, providing an assist and registering two shots as he made his presence felt in attack.

Midfielders:

Han-Noah Massengo, Augsburg

Delivered an excellent performance, scoring Augsburg's only goal against Union Berlin, while also completing 90 percent of his passes and winning all of his ground duels.

Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Olise was once again instrumental for FC Bayern, assisting Dayot Upamecano's opener before getting on the scoresheet himself to seal the 3-1 win over Freiburg. The Frenchman created five key chances and completed two dribbles in an influential performance.

Andrej Kramaric, Hoffenheim

Made a huge impact off the bench, playing a part in all three of Hoffenheim's goals against Leverkusen. He scored once and provided two assists to inspire his side's attacking display.

Wael Mohya, Borussia Mönchengladbach

The youngster was instrumental in Gladbach's first win of the season, scoring a goal and providing an assist to inspire his side to a 3-2 upset victory over VfB Stuttgart.

Strikers:

Niclas Füllkrug, Werder Bremen

Scored twice from the penalty spot to take his tally to eight Bundesliga goals, moving clear at the top of the scoring charts.

Romulo, RB Leipzig

Introduced at half-time, Romulo provided an immediate spark for RB Leipzig, scoring twice in an impressive 4-0 victory over Elversberg. He also completed two dribbles to cap an influential cameo.
