Two African countries have booked their places at the FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup quarter-final stage.
They are Nigeria and Ghana.
Nigeria is the latest African country to progress to the quarter-final stage after beating Mexico 2-1 in their Round of 16 game played on Thursday.
Ghana, on the other hand, qualified for the quarter-final stage on Wednesday.
They defeated Argentina 5-4 on penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 draw after normal time.
Ghana and Nigeria will hope to continue their impressive performances when the quarter-final stage begins this weekend.
