Kylian Mbappe sets new UEFA Champions League record

Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has set another remarkable record in the UEFA Champions League after becoming the first player to score at least 25 goals in the competition for two different clubs.

The France international reached the milestone for Real Madrid during their 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig on Wednesday, October 21, taking his Champions League goal tally for the Spanish giants to 25.

Mbappe previously scored 42 Champions League goals for Paris Saint-Germain before joining Real Madrid in 2024. The French achievement places him in a unique category in the history of Europe's elite club competition.

The 27-year-old has continued to demonstrate his exceptional goalscoring ability since making his Champions League debut with Monaco during the 2016/17 season. According to UEFA. Mbappe has now scored 73 goals in 101 Champions League appearances, including six for Monaco, 42 for PSG and 25 for Real Madrid.

His latest milestone further underlines his status as one of the most prolific forwards in modern football, with the Frenchman continuing to chase more records as he leads Real Madrid's attack.
With several years potentially remaining at the highest level, Mbappé will be looking to add more goals and trophies to his impressive European football résumé.
