The Reds return from the international break by travelling to Keys Park on Sunday afternoon (2pm BST kick-off).

Build up to the game with the following facts and figures from Opta.

Since returning to the top flight in the 2022-23 season, Liverpool have only won more points in the WSL against Brighton & Hove Albion (18) than Villa (13).

The Reds have seven points from five games this season – their best return since 2023-24 at this stage (10).

They are one of three teams yet to concede from a set-piece in the WSL this term, alongside Chelsea and Arsenal.

Liverpool (25 years, 283 days) and Villa (25 years, 199 days) have fielded the two youngest starting XIs on average in the 2026-27 WSL to date.

The Reds are also the only side yet to start a player aged over 28 in the competition.

Gareth Taylor has only won more WSL matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Everton (both 10) than Villa (nine).

The two players to combine for the most passes in the WSL this season are Jenna Clark and Grace Fisk (113).

Fisk leads the WSL in 2026-27 for attempted passes (450) and completed passes (416), boasting the sixth-best passing accuracy (92.4 per cent – a minimum of 200 passes).

Alejandra Bernabe has completed the most dribbles in the WSL this season (14). Arsenal's Emily Fox (59) is the only full-back to record more carries than Bernabe (55).

Villa failed to win their first three home games against Liverpool in the WSL (drawn one, lost two) but were 3-0 winners in this fixture in the previous campaign.

They are without a win in their last nine WSL matches (drawn three, lost six) since a 2-1 victory at Leicester City in March 2026.
