WWE’s Independent Development (ID) program has seen another departure. This exit adds to a growing list of talents who have recently moved on from the system.

The latest exit involves a wrestler who joined the program earlier this year and gained experience on WWE EVOLVE under a different ring name.

The departure was confirmed directly to Fightful Select, bringing his brief run with WWE’s developmental initiative to an end.

Jimmy House confirms WWE ID release after seven months

Jimmy House, who performed as CJ Valor during his time on WWE EVOLVE, confirmed to Fightful Select that WWE released him from its ID program. He signed an ID contract in March 2026, around two months after participating in the company’s tryouts in Orlando.

House had already indicated a change in direction last month when he announced that he would return to using his independent wrestling name. His latest confirmation clarifies his status with WWE following that announcement.

Despite the departure, House reportedly spoke positively about his experience in the program. He highlighted the opportunity to learn from WWE Hall of Famer Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. Moreover, House credited Gabe Sapolsky’s advice and guidance as important factors in helping him secure the contract.

Jimmy House’s exit comes amid wider turnover within WWE ID. Laynie Luck, Marcus Mathers, Cappuccino Jones, Santi Rivera, Sam Holloway, and Veronica Haven are among the other names mentioned in reports of recent departures from the system.

His tenure was relatively short, running from his March signing to his recently confirmed release. During that period, competing on EVOLVE as CJ Valor gave him an opportunity to gain experience within WWE’s developmental structure.

WWE ID continues to serve as part of the company’s broader talent-development pipeline. However, the latest departures show that its roster is changing. For House, the WWE chapter has closed, and he has already signaled a return to his independent wrestling identity.

His next career move has not been announced in the provided reports. For now, his departure adds another name to the list of talents moving beyond WWE ID as the program’s lineup continues to evolve.
