WWE star Cody Rhodes knows that he's closer to the end of his wrestling career than the beginning. He doesn't intend to hang up his boots for several more years, however.

As revealed on "Insight With Chris Van Vliet," Rhodes is eyeing 2032 or 2033 for his official in-ring retirement.

"I just signed my last contract," he said. "I say last contract, but that's going to go for a while, and if I'm able to do what I've been able to do, because I would love this year not to be just one movie, but perhaps two movies, and I'd love to kind of be able to share that at some point, get that going, and be in that. With all that said, my time with WWE could go. I mean, just to give you a real answer here, and not politic around you, probably seven years. Six, seven ...Yeah, six, seven years. I'd say so. I don't want to say that in a final sense. I just know that I don't want to overstay my welcome."

Rhodes, 41, made his pro wrestling debut in 2006, the same year in which he inked a developmental deal with WWE. His main roster debut came the following year in a match against Randy Orton, his future mentor in Legacy.

Fast forward to 2026, Rhodes is a three-time world champion in the company, currently feuding with Orton on "WWE SmackDown." Orton himself aims to wrestle until at least the age of 50. Based on Rhodes' latest timeline, his respective retirement would put him at either 47 or 48.
