Morocco, Egypt, Angola and Algeria set for Futsal AFCON semi-finals

The race for the title at the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 continues on Monday, with Morocco, Egypt, Angola and Algeria set to battle for places in the final.

Hosts and defending champions Morocco will face Egypt at 20:00 local time, while Angola take on tournament debutants Algeria at 17:00. Both matches will be played at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Hall in Rabat.

Morocco head into the semi-finals in strong form after winning all three of their Group A matches without conceding a goal. Hicham Dguig’s team scored 17 goals in their victories over Algeria, Zambia and Libya.

Egypt will be looking to bounce back after ending their group-stage campaign with a 4-2 defeat to Angola. The Pharaohs had earlier beaten Tanzania and Mozambique to secure their place in the last four.

The first semi-final will see Angola face Algeria in what promises to be an exciting contest.

Angola will take confidence from their strong finish to the group stage, having come from two goals down to beat Egypt 4-2 in their final match.

Algeria have also made an impressive start to their first appearance in the tournament. After losing to Morocco and drawing with Libya, the Fennecs secured their semi-final place with a 7-4 victory over Zambia in their final Group A match.

The semi-final winners will meet in Wednesday’s final, which is scheduled for 20:00 local time. The losing teams will face each other in the third-place match at 17:00.
