Maresca calls Enzo Fernandez’s collision with referee ‘funny’

Maresca described an unusual incident from Manchester City’s 4-2 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League as “funny” after Enzo Fernandez collided with the referee.

The paths of the referee and the Argentine midfielder crossed during the match. Fernandez put out his hands and, in the process, pushed the official, sending him to the ground.

Manchester City return to Premier League action on Saturday, 17 October, when they host Ipswich. The match is scheduled to kick off at 17:00 Moscow time.
