Barcelona made two unsuccessful attempts to sign Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi last summer, according to Diario SPORT.

Bournemouth rejected both proposals, but Barcelona could revisit their interest in the 20-year-old in 2027 as he nears a return from a serious injury.

The Cherries were reported to value Kroupi at more than €100m during the summer. The French forward has not played at all this season.

Kroupi’s contract with Bournemouth runs until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €70m.
