Jeremy Jacquet voted Liverpool’s best player for August and September

France central defender Jeremy Jacquet has been named Liverpool’s best player for August and September.

The 21-year-old was chosen by the club’s supporters, finishing ahead of forwards Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak in the vote.

Jacquet joined Liverpool from Rennes during the summer and has made nine appearances for the Reds this season. However, he has yet to register a goal or an assist.
