Cristiano Ronaldo has dusted off an old celebration that fans absolutely love.

The Portuguese superstar has scored goals aplenty during his stunning career and that means that he's needed an iconic celebration to match.

For many years, Ronaldo has been famous for his 'Siu' celebration - a trademark that sees him run and jump before doing 180-degree turn and landing with a powerful stance.

Such is its level of popularity, children and football fans around the world emulate the 'Siu' celebration every day, but Ronaldo has now taken a nostalgic look back at a different celebration.

The 40-year-old was competing in the AFC Champions League clash with Yokohama F. Marinos when he found the back of the net.

But instead of pulling out his usual trademark, Ronaldo took a more laidback approach.

The forward simply strolled to the advertising hoarding before taking a seat and sitting with a smile on his face.

Ronaldo famously carried out the celebration for the first time back in 2017 when he bagged a hat-trick for Real Madrid against their fierce rivals Atletico in the Champions League.

That celebration has since been emulated by a number of stars, most notably Man United star Alejandro Garnacho and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

And fans were clearly delighted to see the celebration being recreated by Ronaldo himself.
