After deciding late that he wanted a career in sports journalism, Daniel worked his way up the ladder in an unconventional manner.

Having opted against university, Daniel worked with Sky Sports as a freelance contributor and translator during transfer windows while also volunteering on several other blog pages and outlets to get a portfolio of content together.

Daniel then worked with Barnet FC as part of their social media team before starting his own website, which focused on football and MMA content.

That eventually led to work with 90min and Reach PLC with The Mirror, Daily Record, Daily Express, and Manchester Evening News.

Following that, Daniel spent two-and-a-half years with Breaking Media covering Everton, Rangers, Leeds, West Ham and other clubs before joining GiveMeSport as a Premier League editor.

As well as football, Daniel is a huge MMA fan and has appeared on YouTube and podcast content too.

Manchester City fans are furious with the Premier League after they posted a video on their social media channels without any reference to them.

City have been found guilty of 114 charges related to financial breaches between 2009 and 2018, which has seen them threatened with sanctions including potential stripping of titles, points deductions, relegation, and even being kicked out of football entirely.

The club have appealed against the verdict, and have maintained their innocence throughout the process, but fans believe that the Premier League have already begun to airbrush their historic successes from memory on social media.

Recently, the Premier League posted a video of some memorable goals that didn't feature a single goal scored by Man City, which caused fury among the fan base on social media.

Now, they have followed that up with a post of some emotional goodbyes from legendary players such as Steven Gerrard, John Terry, Mikel Arteta, Mohamed Salah, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer.

But City fans were quick to spot that some of their legendary figures weren't included, and believe this is a ploy by the Premier League to make people forget about their successes.

Fans have taken to their own social media accounts to comment on the lack of appearances for stars such as Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, and Vincent Kompany.

One fan said: "No KDB, Silva or Kompany, you guys are scum," while someone else said, ""No Aguero, no De Bruyne, no Yaya, no Silva, no Bernardo or Stones, no Pep. Reeks of bias."

Another said: "Ignoring Man City legends. So stupid of you."

Another commented: "North Korea levels of censorship here."

Another fan said: "Bernardo? Kevin? John Stones? Gundo? Sergio? Vincent? David Silva? Not only did Richard Masters and his invisible PL Chair Alison Brittain tell the red cartel of the decision before the rest of the league, they are air-brushing Man City out of their media feeds... yet we remain top of their league!"

Someone else stated: "This is so shameless, purposely leaving out Man City legends that added to more of the exposure, history and entertainment of your league. Not our fault other clubs don’t smartly recruit players like ours that makes this league interesting to watch in recent decades."

Another comment said: "Not including Kevin De Bruyne here is a big insult to Manchester City. Kevin De Bruyne is the best and the greatest Premier League attacking midfielder of all time and he's not here?"

Popular fan account City_Xtra also posted a video of De Bruyne's farewell, with a shrug emoji.

City's appeal against the decision is currently ongoing, but a final decision is expected to be made before the end of the season.
