The midfielder joined the Reds from Championship rivals United who face Phil Parkinson's side at Bramall Lane this evening.
Although he enjoyed his two years in Yorkshire, O'Hare is focussed on the Reds producing a positive response after their 2-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and hopefully leaving with a much needed win after dropping to 17th place in the table.
"I'm looking forward to it. It will be good to see some good faces but mainly we just want to get the win," he said.
"It'll be a good game, but we're just focused on getting them three points because we need them."
O'Hare believes Wrexham's position can change quickly if they can put together a consistent run of results, pointing to the unpredictable nature of the Championship.
"That's what the Championship is. You need to put a consistent run together and once you do that, you go flying up the table," he added.
"That's what we're looking to do now.
"The Championship's crazy and I don't think anyone could predict any of the results.
"Every game's different but if you get a run together and you get consistency, keep getting them three points, that's what matters the most so that's what we need to do."
