As another summer window rolled around, it was yet another rebuild for Rangers.
A new gaffer came in alongside a host of new players as Derek McInnes ushered in a new era as he looked to push into the title fight.
Last season, the Glasgow giants limped to third spot after the Premiership split as they watched Celtic and Hearts pull away and fight for the trophy.
After a rocky start to the season - including a European exit with humbling Europa League and Conference League playoff exits - McInnes looks to have found the winning formula.
A whopping 14 players have arrived - and while some have already been sidelined, there is some impressive deals that are proving fruitful for Rangers as they look to dethrone Celtic this term.
Here, Record Sport runs through the full list of the Ibrox transfer moves - and how they have fared so far.
After arriving from Hearts, the striker endured some mixed fortunes after being handed the armband by Derek McInnes. The 31-year-old has netted three goals - and appeared to be finally hitting his stride before a hamstring injury put the skipper on the shelf. A return in the New Year looks likely, and Shankland will be looking to finally show his best form in a blue shirt.

After returning to Ibrox from Bristol City, the 28-year-old was given the chance to make right-back his own following the departure of James Tavernier. However, it has been a disappointing season so far for McCrorie - who has lost his starting spot to Dujon Sterling after the defeat to Jagiellonia, and has made rare appearances from the bench since.

The on-loan Atalanta centre-back has endured a luckless spell at Ibrox. He picked up a hamstring injury on the opening day of the season, and has struggled to reclaim his spot in McInnes' team since. The 28-year-old has had to watch from the sidelines as Olwethu Makhanya and Emmanuel Fernandez form an impressive partnership at the heart of the defence.

The goalkeeper had big gloves to fill as he replaced Jack Butland - while coming from Hull City with a hefty £6million price tag, but he has lived up to the hype so far. After some ropey moments early in his tenure at the club, he has solidified himself as a safe pair of hands. He has gone four games without conceding a goal, with the Croat crucial to the club battling their way into a title race.

After arriving as a free agent from Sunderland, the midfielder has been a revelation in the engine room - and has formed an impressive partnership with Nico Raskin. He has made himself an Ibrox hero after his double against Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup, and has been handed the armband in Lawrence Shankland's absence. His trajectory only looks to be going upwards.

A mixed bag for the Australian so far at Ibrox after leaving Hearts. He followed his former boss along the M8, but has been in and out of the team. He has mostly been used to help see out games - and fans will probably remember him most at this stage for his horror red card against Jablonec.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a positive start to his time at Ibrox, but the young recruit from Partizan has found minutes harder to come by in recent games after the emergence of Neil and Raskin as a midfield partnership - with his last start coming back in August against Jablonec. Still, fans have seen enough to believe he is a promising player for the future

An undoubted smash hit by the recruitment department. After arriving from Philadelphia Union, the centre-back has only gone from strength to strength. He has brought a calming presence to the backline, and the South Africa defender looks set to command a big fee when he leaves Govan - with speculation emerging that January interest is on the cards.

The arrival of the wide man appears to have unlocked Derek McInnes' plan for Rangers style. The rise of the 20-year-old has been turbo-charged since his £8.5m switch from Girona, and he has quickly emerged as a key player for McInnes. He has now earned his first South Korea cap, and he is another talent on the rise at Ibrox

At the time of Kelsy's arrival, Rangers were in dire need of a new talisman up front. Youssef Chermiti was sidelined, and captain Lawrence Shankland wouldn't be far behind. The Venezuelan has filled the void in the Ibrox frontline perfectly and has been the ideal focal point for the team.
Rangers' Kevin Kelsy celebrates after scoring
The 22-year-old netted his first goal for his new club in the 3-0 rout of Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup, and fans will hope for a few more soon from the £9.5m recruit.

The flying winger impressed early on, but has recently drifted down the pecking order - with Min-su Kim and Djedi Gassama becoming Derek McInnes' first choice duo on the flanks. He hasn't started a game since August, and the 26-year-old will have to be patient to get back in.

The boyhood Rangers fan landed his dream move on loan from AEK following Tuur Rommens injury - and the Belgian now faces a major challenge to reclaim his spot at wing-back.
He has quickly become a fan favourite with a series of impressive performances falling his move - and the punters will hope he continues this trajectory, and the Penrice deal is made permanent.

The Aston Villa loanee hasn't had much of a look-in so far. The 20-year-old right-back has been brought in as cover, and has just one start in his four appearances - and hasn't been seen on the pitch in over a month.

A deadline day arrival on loan from Stuttgart, the Algerian has shown flashes of what he is capable of. Expect to see more from the tricky winger as the season goes on - but it's too early to call if he will be a hit or a miss after just three appearances for the 21-year-old.
