'Exquisite': Middlesbrough player rating photos after Charlton win

Middlesbrough player ratings after their 3-0 win over Charlton at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship.

Middlesbrough remained top of the Championship following a 3-0 win over Charlton at the Riverside - but how did each player fare for Kim Hellberg’s side?

Boro opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Sebastian Berhalter’s low effort beat goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo. Will Lankshear then added a second just before half time, and secured the points with an excellent strike in the 83rd minute.

Here’s how each Boro player fared:

1. Radek Vitek - 7 Didn’t face any shots on target but was quick off his line on a few occasions to preserve his clean sheet. 7 | Getty Images Photo Sales

2. Callum Brittain - 8 Showed plenty of energy down the right and wasn’t really troubled defensively. Could have easily registered an assist with a few inviting, low crosses from full-back. 8 Photo Sales

3. Ashley Phillips - 8 Commanding in the air and swept up danger well. Did well to stop Charlton forward Charlie Kelmen when he was the last Boro defender, which happened just moments before Boro’s opener. 8 | Bruce Rollinson/PA Wire Photo Sales

4. Adilson Malanda - 7 Faced a physical battle against Charton forward Miles Leaburn in the first half but stuck to his task as Charlton often went direct in the first half. 7 | Getty Images Photo Sales
