Arsenal crept past Leeds United this afternoon to keep up the pressure at the top of the Premier League table.

Goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Riccardo Calafiori were enough for Mikel Arteta’s men to come from behind and see off a spirited Leeds side.

In the end, it was three big points and that, in reality, is all that matters. As for Leeds, it was a glimpse of how the very best teams seem to be able to grind results out when it matters most.

And according to Leeds star James Justin, it’s all down to the small moments in games that Arsenal pounce on.

Aside from winning the Champions League, how can Arteta surpass Arsene Wenger as Arsenal’s greatest manager?

Arsenal told they’re one of the best teams in the world

Leeds more than put up a fight with Arsenal. There was a time in the game when it looked like Daniel Farke’s men might take a result home with them.

But as happens so often, Arsenal found that little bit extra and according to Leeds star Justin, it’s all down to the Gunners making the most of the tiny margins in games.

“To be honest, I think after the goal we stayed on top of them for a little bit and obviously showed what we can do,” Justin admitted.

“But then you see these little moments in games, they can change them so quickly. There’s a reason why they’re one of the best teams in the world, and yeah, they can hurt you at any moment, and they’ve got unbelievable players and a good manager. And obviously it was disappointing to concede the goals, any goal, but obviously today hurt a bit more because we went in the lead and then went behind so soon.”

With Arsenal now level on points with Man City at the summit, the pressure is back on Enzo Maresca’s side, who are battling against a host of off-field issues at the same time.

As for the Gunners, it’s business as usual and while it wasn’t free-flowing football all the time, a win is all that matters.
