Aston Villa have been in the hunt for Real Madrid’s Endrick and now face competition from Arsenal.
The attacker, despite interest from several clubs in the summer, decided to stay at Los Blancos. This decision has backfired, as the Brazilian has failed to become a regular under Jose Mourinho.
He has played less than 80 minutes in La Liga, featuring for only five minutes against Racing at the weekend. Even though he impressed against AS Roma in the Champions League and helped Mourinho’s side to a massive comeback, that hasn’t helped his case.
Sport Witness have tracked Aston Villa’s interest in him, with Roma and AC Milan also in the chase to take advantage of Endrick’s situation. Arsenal’s candidate has now also become clear.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo reports about the player’s situation, which can become uncertain again in January.

Endrick has become one of Milan’s main targets, with club owner Gerry Cardinale very keen on the move.
Mourinho’s stance on his departure has been firm, though. He wants to keep the 20-year-old and if anything, his stance on this has become stronger as months have passed.
Despite that, Milan haven’t given up hope. The report further claims that Arsenal are a ‘newcomer’ in the hunt too and Aston Villa’s interest will also complicate matters for the Rossoneri.
Cardinale’s club could even have an advantage in the move too. They have an excellent relationship with Endrick’s entourage at RocNation, which can soften Real Madrid’s stance over an exit.
Milan’s ownership has close ties with RocNation, as the agency has helped RedBird with commercial growth since their takeover of the Rossoneri. That might not mean much, when the January transfer window opens.
RocNation’s huge presence in the game means they deal with several clubs. Often, they have managed to create auctions that have also not helped suitors and this was evident in the case of Malick Fofana in the summer.
This suggests that Aston Villa and Arsenal shouldn’t run out of hope, if they want Endrick. Things can yet change drastically in the next few months.
