Celtic star namechecked by Spanish media as 'orchestrator' before Vigo

The Hoops take on La Liga outfit Celta in the Europa League on Thursday evening and do so having annihilated Hearts 7-1 in their most recent Scottish Premiership outing.

Baur has stood out for his side in their last two league showings against Motherwell and then the Jambos with his performance against the latter forcing an own goal after a mazy run.

The new Germany international has made 13 appearances for the Scottish champions so far this term with three goals to his name and GOAL Espana took in his Jambos outing and praised his efforts.

The publication wrote: "Celtic, with young international Mika Baur orchestrating play in midfield, dominated at will."

The same publication credited Baur with most of the good things which happened for Celts as they highlighted his rise from his time at Paderborn in Germany.

Celtic know they must win the game against Celta Vigo when their foes arrive in Glasgow this week.

Having already lost their opening two Euro group fixtures this term they will likely fail to get near the playoffs with another defeat in front of their own punters.
