Manchester City resume their Champions League campaign tonight with a home game against Greek champions AEK Athens.
The Blues extended their winning start to the Premier League season to seven games with a 3-2 victory over Ipswich on Saturday and will hope to make it two wins in four days when AEK visit.
Enzo Maresca's side were beaten 4-2 on home soil by two-time defending champions PSG in their last European fixture, a result which leaves the Blues 17th in the table with three points from two matches following the opening win over Porto in Portugal.
City will be heavy favourites to beat an AEK side who also have three points from two games but the Blues look likely to be without several senior stars amid a flurry of injuries.
Five players picked up issues against Ipswich and Antoine Semenyo is a certain absentee with the Ghana international set for an eight week absence. Erling Haaland is also unlikely to start having limped off in the closing stages at the weekend. Giving the Norwegian the night off seems prudent but with Semenyo also sidelined it raises questions over who could lead the line.
One option would be to utilise Phil Foden as a false nine. The playmaker was on the scoresheet against Ipswich, breaking a 10-month goal drought, and has played as a forward in the past.

Iliman Ndiaye impressed against Ipswich and is also capable of playing through the middle so starting him would represent an opportunity for City to rotate a forward line which will include Rayan Cherki after he was rested at the weekend. Jeremy Doku can be given the nod on the left.
In midfield, expect a return for Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson after they both dropped to the bench last time out, although Ayyoub Bouaddi could keep his place if Fernandez plays further forward.
There is no need to risk Nico O'Reilly or Matheus Nunes so Josko Gvardiol and Abdukodir Khusanov can slot in at full back. Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi and Gianluigi Donnarumma have started every Premier League and Champions League game so far this season and that could continue. Maresca has seemed reticent to use Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rico Lewis in the full back roles this term and it would be a huge call to draft in Vitor Reis.
