Philadelphia 76ers' LeBron James (23) looks to pass the ball against Brooklyn Nets' Noah Clowney (21) during the first half of a preseason NBA basketball game Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, in New York.

The deadline came and went for rookie-scale extensions, and Noah Clowney didn’t get one from the Nets, sources told The Post.

That means the young forward is going to go from starting 60 games last season to coming off the bench in a prove-it contract year heading into free agency.

But Clowney insists even if the details change, the job doesn’t. He’s keeping the main thing the main thing, which is staying focused and doing his job.

“I mean, realistically, we’re professionals. You should be able to adjust to a new role,” Clowney said. “It might take a couple games to click — maybe more than a couple of games — but you should be able to figure it out.
