Tottenham to submit format complaint after controversial red card decision at Leeds

Tottenham are set to lodge a formal complaint to Pro Ref after Jayden Bogle was not sent off in their 1-0 defeat at Leeds.

Spurs were beaten at Elland Road thanks to Noah Okafor’s winner, but controversy broke out in Yorkshire with the visitors believing that the hosts’ wing-back should have seen red for a horror tackle on Mathys Tel, the Spurs winger.

It left the Frenchman stricken on the turf, and he was forced off as a result, with it being reported that the forward left the stadium on crutches.

Referee Tony Harrington oversaw a four-minute VAR review, but opted against dismissing Bogle.
