The Seattle Seahawks are still reeling from getting embarrassed by the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 8. General manager John Schneider has less than one week to respond via the NFL trade deadline (Nov. 10). The best player available is Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor.
The Seahawks have struggled to run the football effectively throughout 2026. They currently rank 19th in rushing, averaging 109.6 yards per outing. The belief was that getting Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price would improve the rushing attack versus the Bears. That did not occur, with both Charbonnet and Price held under 30 rushing yards apiece.
The Seahawks have been linked to trading for Taylor through numerous rumors. Other teams linked include NFC postseason contenders like the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants. If Schneider is truly interested, he'll have competition for Taylor's services.
The Seahawks recently traded a third-round pick to the Colts for guard Quenton Nelson. Acquiring Taylor via trade would obviously reunite them. The Seahawks still have their first-and-second-round selections, and they are projected to receive one/two compensatory picks in the third round. Schneider still has a treasure trove of picks at his disposal to make a splash.
