Chiefs lead NFL in one key category entering Week 9 matchup vs. Jets

According to the experts at Pro Football Focus, the Kansas City Chiefs currently lead the NFL in yards after catch entering Week 9 of the regular season.

Kansas City has been buoyed in this category by standout performances from superstar tight end Travis Kelce and rookie running back Emmett Johnson.

While PFF did not provide an in-depth breakdown of the Chiefs' yards-after-catch leaderboard, Kansas City's total of 1,175 put the Missouri-based franchise well above the Pittsburgh Steelers (1,146) and Los Angeles Rams (1,065), who occupied the No. 2 and 3 spots, respectively.

Take a look at the full top-five on NFL's yards after catch leaderboard in this post from PFF's official Twitter account:

While Kansas City's offense underwhelmed during the Chiefs' two-game losing streak in Weeks 7 and 8, the AFC West juggernauts will have an excellent opportunity to get back in the win column against the New York Jets on Sunday.
