Rangers striker Ryan Naderi had a tricky outing against Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday night, and the stats make for worrying reading.
The Czech Republic forward failed to find the back of the net as Dundee held Rangers to a 2-2 draw in the Scottish Premiership.
An error from Dan Neil cost the visitors three points, but he was not the only bad performer in Derek McInnes‘ team.

Missed the chance to go top 😤
Naderi was given the start by McInnes against Dundee and he played the full 90 minutes, with just one shot on goal. For someone leading the line, McInnes would have wanted more and would also have liked to see him being more available during the build-up as well.
What was pretty disappointing was that he misplaced more passes than he completed, as he could complete just eight of his 17 pass attempts, per Sofascore. His pass accuracy was a shocking 40 per cent when it comes to attempts made in the opposition half.
The 23-year-old also struggled to retain possession, losing the ball 18 times, and he also had no success at taking players on, winning none of his three attempted dribbles. Having six unsuccessful touches when you are the target man there to hold up the ball is also not acceptable.
Given his frame and aerial prowess, one would expect him to be dominant in the air, but that was not the case. Naderi lost seven out of 11 aerial duels throughout the game, and proved to be an unreliable out ball for the visitors.
Given how well Minsu Kim and Badredine Bouanani played, it is hard to keep them out of the team. Kevin Kelsy did score in his last start for Rangers and may feel hard done by not getting a single minute against Dundee.
McInnes could ask him to prove what he’s got against St Johnstone next Saturday, and hopefully, he can respond by finding the back of the net again. It remains to be seen if he replaces Naderi or plays alongside him.
