Those numbers do come with some context. Bursaspor play in the TFF 1. Lig, Turkey’s second tier, so this run is being put together below the country’s top flight.
Nevertheless, maintaining that consistency over 11 matches is an impressive achievement.
Iheanacho’s season at Parkhead was interrupted by injuries, but Celtic helped him return to regular competitive football and he delivered goals when opportunities came his way.
Celtic allowed their option to extend his contract to expire before attempting to negotiate a new agreement. A deal was not reached, and Iheanacho moved on.
He has since carried that goalscoring form elsewhere, becoming a reliable source of goals for Bursaspor.
The standard of opposition means his Turkish figures cannot be treated as a direct measure of what he would have produced had he remained at Celtic.
But his contribution in Glasgow had already shown he could offer something, even during a campaign in which fitness problems limited his involvement.
Celtic gave him the platform to get playing and scoring again. Bursaspor are now enjoying the benefits of a striker full of confidence.
