Alex Balde has endured limited playing time at FC Barcelona in the opening stages of the campaign. According to 'Marca', the full-back has featured for a mere 12 minutes against Racing and has been overlooked for the club's remaining LaLiga and Champions League fixtures, with Hansi Flick preferring alternative options on the left side of his defence.
Despite his peripheral status, Balde has no intention of leaving and remains convinced that chances will arise as the season unfolds. Under contract until 2028, the defender is determined to win over Flick and carve out a far more prominent role in the side.
Barcelona, however, have not ruled out a January departure, particularly given the fierce competition in his position and his market value. Manchester United, Manchester City, Benfica, and Aston Villa were all among the clubs tracking the full-back last summer.
