Marvin Harrison Jr., no longer the Cardinals' puzzle to solve, helped lead the Houston Texans to a 34-31 win in London on Sunday over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn kicked the game winner from 49 yards out as the final seconds ticked off the clock.
Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans said Harrison Jr. "showed up, did a really good job, big catches in red zone."
The stats, though they mirrored his 2026 best while with Arizona, were not overly impressive, but the game broadcast and an NFL expert were kind to Harrison Jr. in his Houston debut following a trade last weekend.
The NFL Network's "GameDay Final" referenced Harrison Jr., with network analyst Gerald McCoy saying the Texans "brought him in, he had no really time to practice, and he did exactly what they needed him to do. ...
"He had three first-down catches today. He’s a big-bodied receiver, and they needed him to go in, catch the ball, help us move the chains, and they did that today. I’m excited to see what this team has moving forward, because that defense will be better. If the offense is rolling like this, everybody look out for the Texans.”
The Cardinals acquired a 2027 second-round pick and swapped their 2027 sixth-round pick with the Texans' 2027 seventh-rounder.
