Mile Svilar has returned to Rome after spending the last few days in Belgium.

The Giallorossi goalkeeper is thus nearing a return to action, with Gasperini expecting him to be available soon for the upcoming Serie A and Champions League matches.

According to Manà Manà Sport Roma, the 1999-born player is expected to undergo further tests tomorrow to assess the condition of his foot.

If the tests are positive, Svilar could return to action as early as next week, although a specific return date has not yet been announced.

The Belgian goalkeeper’s upcoming tests will therefore be crucial to estimate his return to action after the injury he suffered in training, which has forced him to miss six league and continental matches so far.

Roma is preparing for a challenging schedule, with Udinese, Manchester United, and Sassuolo among their upcoming opponents, and Gasperini hopes to have the number 99 back in goal as soon as possible.
