JOSH Ezewele scored with virtually the last kick of the game as Worcester City forced a replay against Chorley following a 1-1 draw.

Ezewele forced the ball into the net from close range three minutes into injury time following an almighty scramble in the box at Victory Park.

That came after Mike Calveley’s scrappy opener shortly before the break looked to have sent National League North side Chorley into the next round.

The FA Cup first round draw takes place live on TNT Sports and the TNT Sports YouTube channel from approximately 6.35pm tonight (Monday, October 19).

Chorley broke the deadlock four minutes before half time when Calveley finished into an empty net from point-blank range after City failed to deal with a long free-kick into the box.

However, with Worcester on the brink of exiting the competition a corner from the left caused chaos in the box before Ezewele nodded in from a couple of yards out to spark wild scenes of celebration.

Worcester host Chorley in the replay at Sixways Stadium on Tuesday, October 20 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Sixways Stadium.
