BARNSLEY FC Community Trust has announced that two of its programmes have been awarded an ‘exemplary’ rating.

The Premier League Primary Stars and Premier League Kicks programmes were the two praised.

James Cooke, head of participation and inclusion, said: “To receive an exemplary grading for both Premier League Primary Stars and Premier League Kicks is a fantastic achievement and one that everyone involved should be incredibly proud of.

“Macauley Hobson and Jack Stones have shown exceptional commitment throughout the year, consistently delivering engaging, impactful and high-quality sessions that place young people at the heart of everything they do.

“These outcomes are not only a reflection of their hard work, but also the strength of our partnerships with schools, community organisations and participants themselves.

“Together, we are creating opportunities that help young people grow, succeed and thrive both on and off the pitch.

“The recognition from the Premier League Foundation demonstrates the positive impact our programmes are having across Barnsley and reinforces our commitment to using the power of sport to support education, inclusion and community development.”
