The Premier League winners are ready to go all out to sign the Brazilian superstar, but they are still waiting for the green light.

Real Madrid and Vinicius are set to meet on Wednesday to discuss his future, and that is likely when a decision will be made.

Arsenal are playing the waiting game for now, but the Galacticos may have just helped increase their chances of sealing this deal.

Spanish journalist Jorge C Picon, who previously worked for AS, has revealed that Real Madrid have promised a part of the transfer fee to Vinicius if he agrees to leave.

That means a percentage of any accepted bid from Arsenal will go to the Brazilian, almost like a signing bonus.

By doing so, Real Madrid would avoid losing him for free next year, Vinicius would pocket a handsome sum, and Arsenal would get their man.

Picon tweeted: “Real Madrid sat down with Vinicius’s agents a while ago and let them know that, although they wanted him to stay, they would facilitate a sale if his plan was to leave, mainly to avoid him going for free in 2027.

“How? By offering them a share of the transfer fee. If Arsenal are willing to pay €150 million (£128.5m) for Vinicius, Real Madrid would be willing to give Vini a percentage to smooth the way for a departure.

“It’s a win-win-win: Vinicius gets a signing bonus, Real Madrid doesn’t lose a player for nothing, and Arsenal signs a star before having to battle for him as a free agent.”
