Paolo Banchero Could Miss 4-6 Weeks Due To High Ankle Sprain

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero suffered a low-grade right high ankle sprain in his team's home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. That injury generally comes with a recovery timeline of 4-6 weeks. The Magic have not released an official timeline, but did confirm the injury to Banchero.

This is the latest in a string of injury-related setbacks that have plagued Banchero through his career. The fifth-year forward was mostly healthy last season, after missing 36 games during the 2024-25 season.

Orlando is hoping to get Anthony Black and Jonathan Isaac back in the lineup soon. Both Black and Isaac have been ramping up after missing the preseason due to injuries.
