‘Worst post of all time’ – Fans stunned as club with just one win this season issue huge warning over leaving game early

FANS have been left stunned after Derby County shared the “worst post of all time” on social media.

The Rams are back in Championship action tonight as they welcome Bolton to Pride Park.

Pressure is mounting on manager John Eustace

Derby have struggled to impress in England‘s second division this season, having won just once.

The club is sitting 23rd in the table and are already seven points from climbing out of the relegation zone.

The East Midlands outfit have suffered nine defeats from 14 games so far this campaign.

The team’s sole win has come away from home, with the Pride Park faithful seeing the team lose five times from seven outings.

This has seen pressure mount on manager John Eustace from the fan base, though he is yet to face the sack.

Ahead of Friday night’s home fixture against Bolton the club has warned fans about leaving the game early.

Derby issued a statement claiming if enough people leave before the final whistle then there could be temporary closures to roads and car parks.

It read: “Supporters are reminded that, should a large number of fans leave the stadium early, some temporary road and car park closures may be implemented to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

“These closures will remain in place until it is deemed safe to reopen the affected roads and car parks.”

Fans have slammed the post on social media in the comment section.

One posted: “Can John Eustace leave early?”

A second commented: “This might be the worst post of all time from a Derby page.”

A third wrote: “Expecting to lose heavily then, do you know how embarrassing this sounds.”

A fourth said: “Already planning for fans walking out early.”

Another added: “Nice conference booster there.”

Derby’s previous home game came against Norwich City on Tuesday and the visitors took the lead through Anthony Musaba after eight minutes.

The Rams finished the first half 3-0 down after further goals from Maghoma and Darlin Yongwa.

The Canaries wrapped up the win in the second half as Jovon Makama added a fourth.

Eustace admitted that there was a lot of disappointment after the defeat to Norwich.

But after remaining in position, he has demanded that there is an improvement on the pitch against Bolton.

He said: “Obviously we’re hurting and really disappointed in the performance, collectively.

“We’ve done a lot of reflecting in the group over the last couple of days.

“It’s important now, moving forward, that we show that pride and that passion and what it means to represent Derby County.

“We certainly didn’t do that on Tuesday. We’ve now got an opportunity to make sure we put things right.

“Let’s just show the pride and make sure that we represent Derby County, we represent the city, we represent the club.

“We represent it with big hearts and with a desire to try and put things right.”
