Former Georgia Bulldogs star tight end Brock Bowers has been nothing short of spectacular since his arrival in the NFL. Bowers picked right up where he left off at Georgia and as soon as he was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft to the Las Vegas Raiders, business continued as usual for Bowers. Bowers was drafted in 2024 as the 13th overall pick.
It seems as if record after record has been set or broken by Bowers since entering the NFL. As a rookie, Bowers set all-time NFL rookie records for most receptions (112) and most receiving yards (1,194) by a tight end. He was named first-team All-Pro as a rookie in 2024 as well. Bowers recently passed the late great Mike Ditka (2,385 yards) for the most receiving yards by a tight end in their first 35 NFL games.
Bowers just recently became the first tight end in NFL history to record 70+ receiving yards in each of his first six games of a season.
Game 1 receiving yards (116)
Game 2 receiving yards (86)
Game 3 receiving yards (110)
Game 4 receiving yards (70)
Game 5 receiving yards (73)
Game 6 receiving yards (92)
Brock Bowers currently has 41 receptions for 547 receiving yards and five touchdowns over six games. Bowers has averaged 13.3 yards a game and has been targeted 60 times so far. Bowers will continue to build on these numbers as the season moves ahead. He missed the first two games of the season with a knee injury.
