Ime Udoka provides Alperen Sengun update ahead of matchup vs. Milwaukee

Prior to Houston's road matchup Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, head coach Ime Udoka addressed the media, giving reporters an update on two-time All-Star Alperen Sengun, who was unable to suit up due to lower back soreness.

According to Udoka, Sengun's back "tightened up a little after the game (against Atlanta)." Imaging on Sengun's back revealed a mild strain; however, Udoka said, "Hopefully it's short-term, a few games at most."

Now 4-0 on the season, Sengun has been dominant in all facets. Early on, the Turkish center is averaging 24.5 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocks. He's also off to an efficient start, shooting 58.1% from the field and a scorching 66.7% from 3-point range, both of which would be career high marks.

Following Wednesday's contest, Sengun's next opportunity to suit up would come Friday, on the road against Dallas.
