The 2026 World Series is here as the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays battle in this year's edition of the Fall Classic.

And the result will be an historic accomplishment for either the Brewers or Rays, as one organization will win its first World Series in franchise history.

The Brewers were the best team in the regular season (103-59) and are 7-1 in the postseason, which includes a four-game sweep over the heavily favored Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series to win their first pennant in 44 years.

The Rays came out on top in the American League in the regular season with a 98-64 record and defeated the Cleveland Guardians in six games to win the pennant for the second time in six seasons.
