Sixers at Cavaliers: NBA Cup Preview, Injury Report and How to Watch 11/6/2026

The Philadelphia 76ers (8-1), owners of a five-game winning streak and the NBA’s best record, will visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-4) on Friday in an Emirates NBA Cup group-play game. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

The Sixers defeated the Detroit Pistons, 112-106, Wednesday on the road. Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field, 3-for-5 from 3-point range and 5-for-7 from the free-throw line. Joel Embiid notched a double-double with 26 points and a season-high 15 rebounds.

The Cavaliers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 124-116, also on Wednesday on the road. Donovan Mitchell scored 27 points, but Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander answered with a game-high 42 after scoring 43 against Cleveland two nights earlier.

Here are the RAV4 Things to Know ahead of Friday’s game:

On Oct. 22, the Sixers overcame a 29-point deficit against Cleveland, the largest comeback in franchise history during the play-by-play era and LeBron James’ NBA career.

Tyrese Maxey and Donovan Mitchell each scored 32 points in Philadelphia’s 114-106 victory.

At 1-0 in Emirates NBA Cup play, Philadelphia sits second in East Group B on point differential, while Cleveland will play its first Cup game of the season.

The 8-1 Sixers are 4-0 on the road to start a season for the first time since 2000-01.

With home teams wearing Statement Edition uniforms and road teams wearing Association Edition uniforms during NBA Cup games, the Cavaliers will wear black and the Sixers will wear white.
