Oliver Glasner is bang under pressure as the head coach of Nottingham Forest, and he let his mask slip after yesterday’s 2-0 defeat to Brentford.
Glasner watched an own goal from Nikola Milenkovic and a deflected Igor Thiago effort consign the Reds to a fourth defeat in five matches, with no win coming for Forest since mid-September.
Glasner has been trying to implement his 3-4-2-1 system at the City Ground, and so far it’s been with minimal impact, as the squad struggled to get to grips with what he wants to bring to the club.

Forest lose 2-0 to Brentford… what are your thoughts on that and Oliver Glasner now…
After the latest setback for a hapless Forest team, Glasner has issued a stern response to the critics, and he’s taken an unfortunate leaf out of Ange Postecoglou’s book.
Glasner is normally calm and composed after matches – but yesterday he let the mask slip, and ultimately, he’s publicly let his players know that it’s not good enough.
Much like Postecoglou did during his time in charge of Forest, Glasner was talking in third person and seemed to take some offence to some line of questioning during his press conference.
He said: “You either buy in or you leave. For me it’s now time that we change things, that I change things, and that’s what we will do.
“I feel that maybe I’ve made too many compromises with some stuff; it’s a clear way we have to do what I want us to do, and it’s important that the players buy in, and I think we can have a turnaround. If we don’t, a sixth manager will come in.
“We can’t continue in the same way. For me, I go home and tomorrow I have breakfast with my family. There is worse situations. Nobody needs to have pity with Oliver Glasner, if I want to, I can start two weeks at somewhere else. I don’t want to do that but the players and the staff are the same. If they remain in the same situation, sorry for the word, but the same s*&^ situation as last year. You need to change and rebuild from the bottom to the top, that’s why I came in to succeed.
“I came here to get the ambitions of the owner, the club and the fans to become a reality, and now we need to have a bigger change than maybe I first thought to be honest and now we are desperate to get this turnaround but against Oliver Glasner can’t do it alone, we’re all together.
“Either you buy in or you leave, I’m not here to be liked, buy in, buy in every single day, every single session. If you don’t want to buy in, you can leave.”
Glasner has hinted at changes for Forest next week against Manchester City, and that can only be a positive for the Reds as they look for a positive result.
The Reds face the envious task of trying to topple a brilliant team, and it already looks as though the team will go into the second international break with another defeat against their name.
Forest’s star players now have to get on board with what the manager wants from them pretty quickly. It’s far from ideal that the Reds have suffered another loss and maybe Evangelos Marinakis will have something to say about these comments from Glasner.
