How does David Moyes' response to back-to-back defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal make you feel? 🤔 The Everton boss doesn't seem overly upset despite the losses…
Tom.procter was critical of Thierno Barry, as the Everton centre-forward was outmuscled by Arsenal centre-back Gabriel.
According to Sofascore data, Barry had 40 touches, one shot on target and managed to complete just eight passes all game, so he was totally ineffective.

Didn’t really expect Everton to get anything, but a disappointing display regardless. Such a gulf between the two teams. Barry was absolutely bullied by Gabriel. Johnson awful again

Pzgffdjrhz highlighted the treatment of Tyler Dibling, who was once again named on the substitutes’ bench and came on for the final 18 minutes of the game.
Despite Brennan Johnson’s mediocre start to his Everton career, the summer arrival consistently gets the nods over Dibling – who has looked sharp in his cameos.

Embarrassing now not giving Dibling game time , if he’s not good enough let him show he’s not good enough don’t just throw £40 million aeay

Kmm.mace admits even as a Moyes supporter, it’s now becoming hard to defend some of his team selections.
Hayden Hackney, who was named Championship Player of the Season last year, is another young player who is hardly getting a chance.

I’m a Moyes supporter but can’t follow his logic now. Can’t understand picking players every week who offer nada . Charli should be on for Barry, who is sooo poor. Tyler should be starting rather than Brennan. Hayden needs to be getting a start too. Different team selection needed. I can only think point is being made to the ‘World beating’ Transfer team!

And finally, Ptrckbennett feels ‘nothing will change’ until the Friedkin Group sell the football club and fresh investment is made into the squad.
The Dell family have recently been linked with an Everton takeover, although it remains to be seen if the £1bn valuation is met.
The Friedkins may have to compromise on their asking price, which is pretty high.

There are few words to describe that performance! Alas until we are sold nothing will change so we need to be realistic! Barry, Johnson, Pickford and Jimmy G need a REST for a few games if we are to have a positive season whatever that may be!
