Colts sign OT Charlie Heck to 53-man roster

The Colts traded guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks this week and they filled the opening that move created on their roster on Thursday.

They announced that they have signed free agent offensive tackle Charlie Heck to their 53-man roster.

Heck was a 2020 fourth-round pick by the Texans and he spent four years in Houston before moving on to stints with the Cardinals, 49ers and Buccaneers. He went to camp with the Dolphins this summer, but failed to make the team.

Heck made 21 starts with the Texans and has started 29 of the 67 games he’s played in over the course of his career.
