Estevao played no minutes against Everton today, and his situation is looking less and less favourable.

Before the international break, a major storyline gaining momentum was around youngster Estevao Willian.
After an impressive first season at Chelsea which was ended early by injury, the Brazilian winger was reportedly unhappy with the gametime he’s been getting under Xabi Alonso in the early parts of this season.
Alonso has denied this, and assured everyone that the wonderkid is a big part of Chelsea’s plans. But the two games after the break won’t have done anything to dispel those rumours. Estevao played a handful of minutes against Bournemouth last week, then none at all today against Everton. Geovany Quenda got on the pitch for the final minutes instead of him.
We still have confidence that Estevao is happier than some might believe. He knows he will get chances in the cups, and next year we should be back in Europe with far more minutes to go around.
But it’s also true that nobody would be shocked if he start agitating for a move in a few months if things don’t change. His problem is that Chelsea have a great front three and are winning games right now.
Pedro Neto is one of the players keeping Estevao out of the team right now, and that was justified by his performance today.
Alonso has also been speaking to the media about next week’s interesting clash against Tottenham.
Neto was the key man today, scoring twice for the Blues and racking up some good stats in the process.
