Jameis Winston may be back in the saddle for the Giants.

Winston entered the game on the Giants’ first possession of the third quarter after McCarthy took a shot from Eagles linebacker Zack Baun. McCarthy went to the sideline and took a knee while in obvious pain after trying to throw a ball.

McCarthy then headed to the locker room for further evaluation and the Giants eventually punted the ball away. The team has not made an official announcement of the quarterback’s status.

McCarthy is 9-of-13 for 101 yards and he was sacked five times in the first half. The Eagles remain up 8-6 with over 10 minutes to play in the third quarter.
