MILLWALL have lost both Ryan Leonard and Tristan Crama to injury, Alex Neil has confirmed.

Both right-backs featured in the Lions’ 4-1 win over Derby County on Saturday but were absent from the squad that travelled to Birmingham City three days later. Millwall lost 3-0 at St Andrew’s.

Crama, who has already suffered injuries to both ankles this year, went down holding his ankle after a heavy challenge against Derby. He played on, and Neil initially thought the defender had escaped serious damage.

“Tristan happened in the game,” Neil said. “So if you remember, right before half-time, when he was lying flat on his back. The next morning, he was fine. That evening, it swelled up, and we’ve had it scanned, and he’s not going to be available.”

Asked how long he expected Crama to be out, Neil added: “We need to get a specialist to have a look at it.”

Leonard missed the start of the season with a hamstring injury but returned to first-team action after the September international break, making four appearances.

“About eight days ago, Ryan Leonard contacted his knee on the left-hand side at our place,” Neil said. “It’s been sore since, but it’s getting to the stage where the pain’s not dying down. We got it scanned, and unfortunately, Lenny’s got an issue just above his knee. He won’t be back within the next month.”
