Golden State Valkyries' Tiffany Hayes leaves Game 6 after scary collision

Golden State Valkyries guard Tiffany Hayes left Game 6 of the WNBA Finals and did not return after a scary collision in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday, Oct. 29.

With five minutes remaining in the game, Hayes attempted to corral a loose ball and collided with Dream forward Rhyne Howard and Golden State guard Veronica Burton. Hayes stayed down on the court for almost a minute and eventually walked off the court without help.

Hayes was seen holding her left hip in Golden State's huddle and remained on the bench for the rest of game.

Hayes exited the game with 15 points in 28 minutes for the Valkyries, who were unable to overcome a double-digit deficit against the Dream on Thursday. Atlanta won 80-69 and forced a winner-take-all Game 7 to be played on Saturday, Oct. 31 in San Francisco.
