After delivering a strong performance in Munich on Wednesday, Arsenal will be looking to back that up by beating Everton this weekend.
The Toffees head into the match off the back of their first league defeat of the season against Chelsea.
It has the potential to be a tightly contested affair, and the Gunners may need to dig deep after putting in one hell of an effort against Bayern.
Press the next page as we share our Arsenal predicted lineup for the game at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon…
RB – Ben White – manager Mikel Arteta is likely to continue rotating his injury-prone right-backs, with Jurrien Timber the one to make way.
CB – Ezri Konsa – Arteta may be tempted to give Cristhian Mosquera some much-needed minutes following his return from injury, but he may be reluctant to do it against Everton.
CB – Gabriel – fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that the Brazilian doesn’t pick up an injury. He has been rock solid at the back.
LB – Riccardo Calafiori – Piero Hincapie could be available for this match, but the Ecuadorian is unlikely to be ready to start, so Calafiori may keep his place.
You do wonder how those exertions could affect Rice with the Everton fixture coming just three days later, but he appears to have fully recovered from a hamstring problem that has plagued him for months.
CM – Myles Lewis-Skelly – the team looked a lot more solid after the 20-year-old’s introduction from the bench against Bayern, and he could be rewarded with a start.
AM – Martin Odegaard – the captain’s ability to unlock defences will be crucial against a stubborn Everton backline.
ST – Viktor Gyokeres – Kai Havertz has struggled in recent games, and after providing the assist for Declan Rice’s equaliser against Bayern, Gyokeres could get the nod up front this weekend.
LW – Eberechi Eze – the England international was clearly a man on a mission after replacing the injured Saka on Wednesday night.
After being hauled off at halftime against Nottingham Forest, Eze will feel a lot better about life after scoring in Munich.
