AEW wrestler Pac’s cause of death has now been revealed three weeks after his passing was announced.

Pac, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, was beaten by Andrade El Ídolo in their AEW National Championship match at All Out on September 26.

A day later, at around 4pm local time, Satterley was found passed out in a rental car outside of a restaurant, in Des Plaines, Illinois. The individual that spotted the Englishman called 911 and emergency services rushed to the scene.

Unfortunately, Satterley could not be saved and he was pronounced dead. He was just 40 years old.

Tributes poured in following the AEW star's death. The Rock was among the big names that paid tribute to Satterley as he posted an emotional video on his social media pages.

Investigation Into Pac's Death Completed

According to the New York Post, first responders to the scene wrote in an incident report that he had saliva on the front of his shirt and medication in his vehicle. They added there were no injuries or 'suspicious markings' on Satterley's body.

The incident report also stated that one officer on the scene was able to make contact with a woman who knew Satterley. The woman told them that the wrestler had stopped for lunch before heading to the airport. His phone is believed to have had Google Maps open and a route to O’Hare Airport on display.

Officials have now concluded their investigation into Pac's death and revealed the cause of his passing. A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office told the California Post on Friday that the manner of his death was officially ruled natural.

Investigators concluded that Satterley, who also wrestled in WWE from 2012-2015 under the ring name 'Adrian Neville', passed away from bronchial asthma.

Pac's Wife Released Emotional Statement

Satterley's wife, Natalie, posted an emotional tribute to him on Instagram earlier this week. She posted multiple images of them together and wrote:

"Thank you for our beautiful life darling. Twenty one years ago we became friends, nineteen years ago we fell in love and eleven years ago we were married. Two souls entwined in one; my best friend and better half.

"You always worked so incredibly hard to ensure we would have a great life together, both now and once you had retired. The cruelty of having all of our future hopes and dreams snatched away will never feel real. You were so excited to get home to us, you were going to shoot hoops all week with your best mates, we were going to set up your new home gym and take Wilfie for some autumnal walks, have pizza at Rudy’s on your cheat day, go to the match, see Sam Campbell live. We’re all just waiting for you to walk through the door again darling, and the idea that will never happen is beyond comprehension.

"I can’t believe it’s been over two weeks already since we last spoke, I can’t believe I’m making this post. We will try our hardest to get through this nightmare and look after each other as I know that’s what you would want, but we will miss you every minute, of every hour, of every day. Love you eternally pet."
