Fans asked to take part in remembrance service before game.
MK Dons are asking all supporters attending tomorrow’s game Stadium MK to be in their seats by 2.50pm to take part in a remembrance service ahead of kick off.
The Dons host Doncaster Rovers in the Saturday fixture but before kick-off, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, dignitaries and representatives from MK Dons and Doncaster Rovers will be in attendance for the service, while players and officials will be lining the pitch.
There will be a presentation of wreaths before a bugler will play The Last Post. A two-minute silence will then be observed to honour those who served and remember those lost. To note the end of the silence, the bugler will play Reveille.
Earlier in the afternoon, there will be military vehicles and stalls in place outside the ground from 1pm as the club celebrate the Armed Forces. There will also be a parade at half time, led by the Royal British Legion. The club’s poppy pin badges remain available online and in the club shop.
As part of the club’s commitment to offering affordable pricing, this second home fixture of the week is another Category C game, meaning children under 12 can attend for just £1.
“With school half-term now in full swing, this is a great time to bring your little ones or your grassroots team to experience League One football in the fantastic surroundings of Stadium MK,” said a club spokesperson.
“Please note ticket prices increase by £2 when purchased on the day of the fixture so you only have until today (Friday) to grab yours in advance to take up the 'kids for a quid' offer.”
