The Dallas Cowboys fell to the Green Bay Packers with a "Sunday Night Football" loss in Week 6, marking their second consecutive defeat in primetime.

The Cowboys were underwhelming on both sides of the ball, surrendering a 23-13 final score at Lambeau Field. The team is now 2-4 to open up the 2026 season — far from where they hoped to be at this point in the year.

Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer acknowledges that his team needs to turn things around as quickly as possible.

“We’re in a hole. We put ourselves there, and there’s one way out of it," Schottenheimer said, via team insider Jon Machota of The Athletic. "That’s what I told the guys. I said, you got to work, got to find solutions, can’t repeat mistakes. And they understand that.

“There’s definitely time to pull out of it. But we got to fix the mistakes that we’ve talked about.”

Schottenheimer added that the Cowboys' struggles "start with him."

“We got to clean it up. Lost two games in a row. Haven’t played well," he said. "Got to take a hard look at it. And that starts with me.”

The Cowboys will look to get their season back on track in a Week 7 "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking their third straight appearance on the primetime stage.
