Photo: Curva Sud confirm banners and choreography will return for Milan-Inter

For Milan-Inter, we won’t just see the Curva Sud with full capacity for the first time since 2019, but also the return of several banners and a choreography.

The Derby della Madonnina is always a massive clash, but several factors will make tonight’s edition extra special. In addition to the league table element, with Milan chasing Inter, it will also be a fantastic one in the San Siro stands.

For the first time since 2019, the Curva Sud and Curva Nord won’t have a capped capacity, adding an additional 2,350 seats to what is usually available. You might have seen the covers before, the blue and green ones, but they won’t be there tonight.

Long-awaited return

In addition to the increased capacity, it will also be a Curva Sud in full swing on the choreography front. As confirmed by Curva Sud on their Instagram this afternoon, they will bring back some of the banners that they haven’t displayed as of late.

Of course, the banners that are still prohibited inside the stadium won’t be there, but at least there will be a lot more now. Furthermore, there will be a proper choreography at the start of the game, also known as a tifo.

In the last home derby, there was a tifo organised by the club itself, but not from Curva Sud. It will thus be very interesting to see what they have put together for this evening.
